This course will focus on improving spoken English for everyday use. Since 80-90 percent of everyday English conversation revolves around meeting people and expressing one's likes and dislikes, emphasis will be placed on learning how to speak about oneself (自己紹介) and how to properly greet people (挨拶). |

At the end of this course, students will feel comfortable using simple, easy English to express themselves in everyday situations. It is also hoped that through this course students will become more motivated in not only learning English but also in using English. |

Students should be prepared to be active in class. English will the language of choice in this class and students will be expected to be present, to be on time, and to try. Students MUST ALSO HAVE A NEW TEXTBOOK; no used or second-hand textbooks will be allowed. |
